Technology Advance:
Photon Emission Microscope

One of the FA lab's recently acquired software packages is the Photon Emission Microscope. This instrument is used to detect defects in integrated circuits by means of light emission in operation mode.

The software is under continuing development with more features to be added in the near future, but it has already been useful in testing of electronic parts for the MRO flight project.
