Position: Parts Representative, Parts Acquisition Group (5142)

Background: joins 514 as Parts Rep in the Parts Acquisition Group (5142). Joe graduated from California State University, Chico in May of 2004, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics. He recently authored a paper entitled “A New Method for the Detection of Galaxy Clusters”, after participating in Astrophysics research during a summer internship for the Department of Energy at the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center last summer break. He plans on continuing his education as soon as time permits. He has applied to the Master’s Engineering Program at USC. When he is not working or studying, Joe enjoys backpacking, rock climbing, archery, canoeing, and anything else that gets him outside.
