Background: James Skinner returns to 514 after a summer internship with the Reliability and Failure Analysis group. During his internship, he learned to operate the Hitachi s-4000 and a Leo Supra VP S.E.M. while analyzing tin whisker densities. He is now working for Parts Engineering (5141). James graduated from California State University, Chico (May 2005) with a B. S. in Computer Engineering. During his last year at Chico, he served as chapter president for Eta Kappa Nu and met his girlfriend Samantha. James plans on obtaining his M.S. in Computer Engineering from USC specializing in computer architecture.
